Button Type Compression Load Cell FC50 is made of stainless steel based on foil strain gauge technology intended for compression force measurement. Button load cell FC50 offers 0-100kgf / 0-200kgf / 0-500kgf / 0-1000kgf / 0-2000kgf / 0-5000kgf / 0-10ton / 0-15ton eight rated measuring ranges with maximum 0.3% non-linearity of the rated output to choose from. Press load cell FC50 can be used for both static and dynamic force measurement.You may find pancake load cell FC50 applicable for force measurement in injection-molding machines, press machines and material testing equipment and so on.

Brief instruction of Rated output(or Sensitivity):
Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer) when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output is pancake load cell FC50 is normally around 1.5mV/V.
Power supply of low profile load cell FC50 is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of stainless steel load cell FC50 is normaly within 0mV...+22.5mV.
Example one: Pancake Load Cell FC50-10kN with 1.5mV/V power by 5V DC,the output range is 0mV...+7.5mV proportional to the applied load.
Example two: Button Load Cell FC50-20kN with 1.5mV/V power by 10V DC,the output range is 0mV...+15mV proportional to the applied load.
Load cell + Signal amplifier:
The mV output from the loadcell transducer sometimes cannot be recognized by signal processing units directly,so signal conditioner is introduced to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: Compression Force Load Cell FC50-100kN working with 0-10V amplifier,the load-output relationship will be 0-100kN load VS 0-10V output,0V output corresponds to 0N, 1V output corresponds to 10kN load, 5V output corresponds to 50kN force,and so on.
